SPOILER ALERT(duh)*

Episode 18 of "Dragon Ball Daima" has officially canonized the Super Saiyan 4 transformation, a form that has captivated fans since its debut in "Dragon Ball GT." This episode showcases Goku unlocking this formidable power during a climactic battle against the formidable King Gomah(with a little push from the ancient Namek), turning the tide when all hope seemed lost.

Akira Toriyama, the legendary creator of the series, played a pivotal role in integrating this transformation into the main storyline. Collaborating closely with Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, the original designer of Super Saiyan 4, Toriyama ensured that the new depiction remained true to its roots while introducing subtle enhancements. This collaboration has resulted in a design that not only pays homage to its origins but also incorporates influences from other popular anime series, creating a fresh yet familiar aesthetic.

The inclusion of Super Saiyan 4 in "Dragon Ball Daima" signifies a deliberate effort to bridge the gap between different arcs of the Dragon Ball universe. By embracing elements from "Dragon Ball GT," the series acknowledges its diverse history and offers a cohesive narrative for both longtime followers and new viewers. This move not only enriches the current storyline but also opens avenues for future plot developments, character evolutions, and potential new transformations.
